The Administrative Professionals Conference of Canada runs annually.
Conference Goals
The goals of this Conference are:
  • Prepare attendees to take on additional responsibilities. With 5 concurrent track sessions, participants can customize your training to broaden your skills and meet your specific learning objectives.
  • Enable attendees to become better business partners with their boss and colleagues. Participants learn to fine-tune decision-making skills, enhance workplace relationships, communicate more effectively, and work to achieve strategic objectives. This Conference offers advanced topics to prepare you for increasingly complex challenges.
  • Increase productivity. Studies show that stress and pressure will reduce productivity. Attendees will learn techniques for performing under pressure and return to work more relaxed.
  • Reinforce motivation and morale. A satisfied, motivated employee performs better, and being able to attend this Conference is a great way to get recognized for your hard work while developing your skills. We hear from attendees every year that they return to work recharged and motivated, and that they are grateful for their company's investment in their professional growth.

The conference will bring together approximately 500+ participants from a wide range of educational institutions, governmental and non-governmental agencies, and the private sector.


Abstracts must be written in English. We require an overview and 3 key learning points.

You can choose to submit abstracts for workshops (3 hours) or Symposium Sessions (60 Minutes) or both. Diversified Business Communications Canada, producers of APC make a final format recommendation based on the overall submissions in order to develop a comprehensive and compelling program.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the Conference website via the online submission system.

You will need to set up a free personal account in which you can create, edit and submit abstracts. You may submit more than one abstract using the same account. Please fill in all the required fields. Abstracts sent by e-mail, mail or fax will not be accepted. In case of problems please contact the Administrative Professionals Conference (


Presenters will be notified of the abstract review outcome on or before September 9, 2016. Further presentation instructions will be given to Presenters at that time.

It is our intention to accept as many high-quality abstracts as can be accommodated by the venue and schedule.


All abstracts must contain original data not previously presented or published. The responsibility for the abstract contents is solely of the author(s). The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the contents of the abstract before submission. Abstracts will be considered only if consistent with the above instructions and received by the deadline
